Philadelphia is Amtrak's 3rd larges hub in the US with over 40 million riders coming to or from the city every year while Septa's regional rail carries another 36 million passengers yearly. Between local commuter rails and freight lines, there are over 5,000 miles of rail in Pennsylvania alone. Efficient maintenance of these rail lines is critical since track outages can impact the local commuters as well as the economy.

Axis has developed a custom fleet of equipment dedicated to high production installation of slope and rock stabilization systems along these rail lines. Our high rail equipment is well suited to work within the tight confines of active, multi-track rail lines while  remotely reaching heights of up to 80' for increased safety of our workers.
